Lions Weekly Recap: April 25

A strong week overall, especially on the track and soccer field.

Soccer picked up two convincing wins over Village Christian (5-2) and Carolina Friends (7-0), improving to 8-4 overall.

Baseball dropped a close one to Northwood Temple (7-6), but remains above .500 at 7-4.

Track and field was where Sandhills Classical really stood out. Multiple athletes claimed top Moore County finishes at the Falcon Invitational, including:

  • Jack Portnoy (400m)

  • Jackson Reidenbaker (1600m & 3200m)

  • Alexa Gray (100m, 200m, 400m sweep)

  • Veronica Cheechov (800m & 1600m)
