Mustang Weekly Recap: April 25
It was a mixed week for the Mustangs, but soccer continues to be a bright spot.
Soccer led the way with back-to-back wins, defeating Southwestern Randolph (4-2), Jordan-Matthews (3-0), and Central Carolina (4-2). That strong stretch pushed North Moore to 10-3-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play, keeping them right in the mix near the top of the standings.
Tennis also had a solid showing, earning a 7-2 win over Southwestern Randolph, with strong singles performances across the lineup and sweeps in doubles play.
On the flip side, baseball and softball both struggled against Southwestern Randolph. Baseball dropped two games by a combined score of 24-0, while softball fell twice as well, moving to 6-12 overall (3-7 conference).
Golf and regional tennis appearances were on the schedule, though results were not available.

The Four Rivers 3A/4A Conference tournaments for baseball and softball will begin on Monday. Those brackets will be on our Facebook page by Sunday afternoon. 5th ranked Mustangs 5-13(1-8) will travel to 2nd ranked Eastern Randolph 13-11 (7-3).
